"If your wearing your aviation procedures anorak, like me, then this is a great DVD for you. The opening flight gives you a taxi from gate to take off for example. This means you get to see/hear all the SOPs unedited. So often with these DVDs the editing cuts out these procedures. The quality of the filming is top notch as is the sound. Topical tips from Cpt. Peter Makau are great, such as testing the TOD point calculated by the aircraft systems. His knowledge of the aircraft systems is impressive, demonstrated very well when showing how to set the 'V' speeds manually. If you want to see beautiful views of Africa this is not the DVD for you, if you want a great DVD with hours of cockpit footage and in dpeth information I highly recommend it."

"Great NG cockpit action
Excellent DVD you did here Tommy. My favorite being the segments with captain Makau at the helm. Also really enjoyed seeing the pre flight preparations for the trip back to NBO from JNB where Cpt. Makau sets up the FMC. Also like hearing about the crew and how they got to the cockpit of the NG (Makau building hours on the Caravan for example). That is some great stuff! Would love to see more of it."
